The Story of WayMaker:
The story of WayMaker begins with Melanie’s professional journey in hospitality & destination management, creating ‘exceptional moments & experiences’ for people for over 25 years.
When it came time to transition from hospitality & destination management to something even more personal & meaningful, Melanie was approached with an opportunity to enter the downsizing & move management industry. This opportunity was a natural move for Melanie with her desire to ‘be of service' along with her refined resource management skillsets and ability to ’hold the space for peoples experiences’.
In 2021, Melanie brought Sterling Transitions Atlanta North to the marketplace as a licensee of Sterling Transitions, a long-time successful Downsizing and Auction Services Company in Asheville, NC. Melanie was more then well-received in her newfound business venture.
In October 2023, Melanie launched WayMaker Downsizing & Move Management to serve the needs of North Atlanta and North Georgia and cultivate her desire to weave her personal sensibilities into the WayMaker brand.
The definition of WayMaker is the one who makes way, the pathfinder.
